The 2025 Womxn in Healthcare Leadership Symposium will take place on Friday, January 31st from 2:00PM – 5:00PM at the Gillings School of Global Public Health in Rosenau 133. Attire will be business casual. You are free to wear business professional, but it is not required.

Our theme this year is Lifting As We Climb: Mentorship and Collaborative Leadership. This theme will be addressed by our keynote speaker, Anne Jacobs, during the first half of the symposium. In the next half, we will have a panel discussion moderated by Lindsey Haynes-Maslow and four panelists: Steve Lawler, Roxie Wells, Ana-Elis Perry, and Nialah Sharp.

For those who are unable to attend in person, we will have a Zoom option.

For MHA/MSPH students seeking a 0.5 credit, they must attend the entire in person session and need to be registered for the 690 course. To get credit while attending over zoom, please email Jeffery with a reason for your absence.

Lastly, we please ask you to RSVP by Friday, January 24th. This is to gauge attendance, so we can estimate the right amount of food and drink to purchase. We will also be sending out more detailed information and reminders regarding the symposium closer to the date, so please RSVP as soon as you are able.
