 2023 UNC Business of Healthcare Conference – What’s Driving Healthcare Prices? This year’s event, hosted on Friday, November 3rd by the UNC Center for the Business of Health, Kenan Institute of Private Enterprise, and the UNC Kenan-Flagler MBA Healthcare Club, will explore how healthcare goods, labor, and services are priced, and why the cost of care continues to rise. We will learn from leaders and organizations that are taking steps to address this core challenge.

Join us for sessions on the rising price of drugs, the influence of consolidation on healthcare prices and costs, the AI boom and reducing healthcare prices, price transparency, and the cost of labor and its impact on prices. Networking and meals are included for in-person attendees. Virtual streaming will be available for select sessions and panels.

Join the 2023 UNC Healthcare Case Competition, an interdisciplinary event designed to leverage your education and experiences to develop innovative solutions to a relevant healthcare issue. The competition gives participants an opportunity to demonstrate leadership skills, critical thinking, and creativity, network with current and future healthcare leaders, and win a prize!

Who can participate:
• Graduate students from across disciplines
• Teams must consist of 4-5 graduate students with at least 2 disciplines represented
• Participants must be currently enrolled in the discipline they represent
• Single students can register as a “Free Agent” to be paired with other singles to form a team
