Adam began as a front-line emergency physician with progressive clinical and administrative roles throughout the mid-Atlantic and Midwest, becoming the President of the nation’s largest Emergency Medicine practice at Envision Healthcare. During the COVID pandemic, he continued to serve as President of Emergency Medicine and was named Chair of the COVID Task Force for all specialties at Envision. That year, the CEO also appointed him to the role as an Executive Sponsor of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI). In 2021, he assumed the role of Chief Impact Officer and continued in his roles in the pandemic response and DEI. Dr. Brown frequently serves as a medical contributor in print media and televised national news, being featured on CBS News, CNN, BBC, BNC News and Yahoo Finance. In 2022, Dr. Brown left Envision, starting ABIG Health – www.ABIGHealth.com – a healthcare strategy and media engagement firm.
