MBA 2021

What Healthcare Club-sponsored event did you enjoy this year?

I really enjoyed attending the Intro to Healthcare Bootcamp held at the beginning of the school year. It was a great opportunity to get a condensed deep dive into the key aspects of the healthcare industry, as well as get an introduction into KFBS’s leading healthcare program and the Center for the Business of Health. The healthcare community at KFBS is tight-knit and having the chance to come together as a group and begin cultivating that network of students, faculty, and alumni so early on set a solid foundation for the rest of the year.

Do you have any advice for incoming and current students?

Explore and make the most of the opportunities an MBA has to offer. There are a lot of exciting events going on from case competitions and career treks to Legacy events and Blue Cup. It’s common to feel overwhelmed, but don’t overextend yourself, and instead, take part in the activities that excite and interest you and expand your horizons.

What are you looking forward to the most as a 2Y student?

I’m really looking forward to being back on campus (in-person or virtual) with my fellow students, as well as working with the incoming first-year students on both their personal and professional developments. It’s a fun and gratifying experience welcoming and guiding the future student leaders into our community.

What are two items on your bucket list?

     1. Travel to every continent (one more to go – Antarctica!)

     2. See the Northern Lights in Iceland
