Mr. Pirouz serves as Head of Capital Markets for Truist Securities. The Capital Markets team is comprised of Equity Capital Markets, Syndicated & Leveraged Finance, Investment Grade Debt Capital Markets, Public Finance, Financial Risk Management, FX Payments Delivery and Capital Structure Advisory.

Mr. Pirouz’s teams are responsible for providing product-specific idea generation in coordination with banking coverage teams and working together to provide client-centric, industry-focused advice. The teams provide capital raising advice in the equity and equity-linked markets, public and private bond markets (high yield, investment grade and tax exempt) and syndicated loan market. The teams provide capital structure advice through Restructuring Advisory, Ratings Advisory Services and Liability Management. Additionally, the teams provide execution on rates, currency and commodities related risk management as well as currency payments process.

Previously, Mr. Pirouz served as Head of Consumer, Retail and Healthcare Investment Banking, where he successfully grew the group to a leading practice on Wall Street, serving both corporate and financial sponsor clients in strategic advisory and acquisition financing. Prior to these roles, Mr. Pirouz served as a Managing Director in Healthcare Investment Banking where he was responsible for coverage of the Benefits Management, For-Profit Acute Care and Distribution sectors where he originated and executed mergers and acquisitions, equity and debt transactions. Mr. Pirouz joined SunTrust Robinson Humphrey in March 2009.

Mr. Pirouz was previously a Principal in Banc of America Securities’ Global Corporate and Investment Banking Leveraged Finance Group focused on Healthcare mergers and acquisitions, LBO and other capital markets transactions.

Mr. Pirouz currently serves on the Boards of Directors for the United Way of Greater Atlanta, the Center for the Business of Health at UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School and the Board of Advisors for UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School. He holds a Bachelor of Science from Cornell University in Mechanical & Aerospace Engineering and an MBA from Kenan-Flagler Business School at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

Mr. Pirouz is married with three children and resides in Atlanta, GA.
