What have you learned so far from being President of the MBA Healthcare Club, and what are you most looking forward to this year?
I am very fortunate to serve as President this year and to work with an incredibly talented Board of 14 VPs. By meeting the challenges of leading a large Board, I am learning how to support each VP to ensure their success and that of the entire Club. I’m most looking forward to meeting my classmates and 1Y students in-person and being part of the CBOH Career Networks!
What made you select UNC Kenan-Flagler for your MBA?
My first interactions with students during the application process, I was impressed by their generosity and commitment, and I was drawn to the collaborative UNC culture. The strength of Healthcare at KFBS is exceptional and there are many resources to learn about healthcare and to connect with faculty, students, and alumni.
Do you have any advice for incoming students?
Stay true to yourself – take time to understand yourself and to formulate your goals. The fall semester is especially busy with the start of the academic year, Core Classes, and recruiting, and you may feel stressed and overwhelmed at times. Leading with your authentic self will help you to find the right path for you.
What is one of your favorite hobbies?
I have been showing and training dogs for many years and have competed at The Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show and The National Dog Show several times.
