Steve is a retired Senior Partner from PwC’s Healthcare Advisory practice (retired June 30,2018), where he most recently specialized in the Deals area. He spent his entire 35 year career at PricewaterhouseCoopers, amassing extensive experience in a variety of areas, including: National Leader of PwC’s Healthcare deals practice, deals, divestiture, and post-merger integration experience with providers and payers, from strategy through execution and value realization, mergers and acquisitions consulting for healthcare and other clients, including focus on transition service agreements, shared service center establishment, change management and cultural integration, and merger efficiency studies and carve-outs upon divestiture.
He also has extensive experience in the Academic Medical Center arena, including academic, research, and clinical issues, extensive performance improvement and financial turnaround expertise in the healthcare arena with integrated delivery systems, academic medical centers, and stand-alone not-for-profit providers, development of various strategic alliances among providers, physicians, and payers. He’s also an Audit Partner with experience across multiple sectors, and a Sales Leader Nationally for PwC, after leading Sales & Marketing activities in two major PwC markets: Washington DC Metro, and New York Metro.
