The North Carolina Institute of Medicine (NCIOM) recently released its report from the Task Force on the Future of the Nursing Workforce. The report details multiple policy recommendations to support and strengthen the nursing workforce in North Carolina. Joshua Barrett, CBOH’s Associate Director of Research, was a contributing member of one of the multiple work groups involved in developing this report. The CBOH is proud to contribute as we explore the healthcare workforce more throughout the year.
